What is NBTHSMUNC?
The North Brunswick Township High School’s Model United Nations Club brings to you a rigorous, insightful, and exhilarating conference, taking place on Saturday, March 21, 2026. For years, our club has been dedicated to honing our students’ and delegates’ skills in communication, diplomacy, research, debate, and civic awareness. The North Brunswick Model UN Club intertwines debate, international and domestic politics, and social issues to prepare students for mock simulations as well as real-world enterprises. Comprised of ambitious and dedicated students, North Brunswick MUN is excited to delve into the most pressing topics of today and of history at this conference. We hope to see you there!

The 27th of January 2025 marked 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz, a German Nazi concentration and extermination camp. Auschwitz was the largest camp and the primary site of the Holocaust, with an estimated 1.1 million people killed within its barbed wire. The significance of the Holocaust lies in its inexorable commitment to unbridled hate, systematic dehumanization, and institutionalized racism; Auschwitz was the symbol of one of the largest genocides and the grossest depiction of mankind in history.

Our conference seeks to serve as a reminder never to repeat the monstrosity that was the Holocaust and to uphold the shared responsibility of championing human rights, international law, and genocide prevention. The four committees offered at NBTHSMUNC VII all connect to a lesson to be learned from the Holocaust: the mistreatment of ethnic populations and undocumented persons, the persecution of minorities, the crucialities concerning genocide response, and displacement crises. We hope that this conference not only serves to hone delegates' skills in debate and global affairs knowledge, but also instills the value of historical awareness and how it connects to our conflict-ridden world today.
